Automechanika Frankfurt 2026

Automechanika Frankfurt is the world's leading trade fair for the automotive aftermarket, held every two years at Messe Frankfurt in Germany. The 2026 edition ran September 8-12. It is the flagship of the global Automechanika network and covers the full aftermarket value chain, including parts and components, repair and maintenance, tires, workshop equipment, diagnostics, car wash and care, and increasingly digital and electric-vehicle service technologies.

The 2026 edition drew more than 112,000 trade visitors from 173 countries and 4,400 exhibitors from 80 countries, with 70 percent of trade visitors coming from outside Germany. New formats included HighTech4Mobility, a forum in the Festhalle for software-defined vehicles, connected systems and digital services, along with the outdoor Experience Park and a 200-meter Pit Lane motorsport area. The AMBITION careers program drew more than 4,600 pupils, students and trainees.

As a trade fair, Automechanika Frankfurt is aimed at industry professionals rather than the public - it runs on trade-only admission throughout. Exhibitors use it to launch products, sign international distribution deals, and reach buyers from every region, while visitors come to compare suppliers, discover new technologies, and build the relationships that support their businesses. The next edition runs September 5-9, 2028.
