Black Hat MEA (Middle East and Africa) is a cybersecurity conference and exhibition held annually at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center (RECC) in Malham, north of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is organized by Tahaluf in partnership with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP). The 2026 edition runs December 1-3.
The event combines an exhibition floor with briefings, trainings, an executive summit for CISOs, the Arsenal showcase of open-source tools, capture-the-flag competitions and hands-on activity zones.
The 2025 edition, held December 2-4, 2025, drew more than 40,000 attendees from over 163 countries, with 500 exhibiting brands and 300 speakers. Reports after the event put its growth at 55% on the previous year.
It is the regional edition of the Black Hat brand, alongside Black Hat USA in Las Vegas and Black Hat Europe, and is one of the last major technology events of the calendar year.
