Electronica is the world's leading trade fair for electronic components, systems and applications, held every two years at Messe Munchen in Munich, Germany. The 2026 edition runs November 10-13 and fills all 18 halls of the fairground, 192,000 square metres in total. Coverage spans the entire electronics chain: semiconductors, passive and electromechanical components, embedded computing, sensors and MEMS, power supplies, PCBs and other circuit carriers, EMS, test and measurement, displays, wireless and automotive electronics.
The 2024 edition recorded 80,203 visitors from 113 countries and 3,486 exhibitors from 58 countries. Note that the organiser reports those figures including SEMICON Europa, the microelectronics manufacturing fair that runs alongside electronica in Halls B0, B1, C1 and C2 on the same dates and the same ticket. They describe the co-located pair rather than electronica on its own.
The 2026 focus topics are artificial intelligence, cyber resilience and energy efficiency, under the organiser's "All Electric Society" framing. The supporting programme runs 15 forums inside the exhibition halls, plus the CEO Roundtable, the new edge lab LIVE! area for edge computing in Hall C5, the electronica Fast Forward startup platform in Hall B4 and a Career Area in Hall C2. The separately ticketed electronica Automotive Conference takes place on November 9, the day before the halls open.
Tickets are paid and range from EUR 37 to EUR 150 depending on tier and whether you buy online or at the door. Buying at the door costs roughly 36 to 38 percent more. The next edition after 2026 is electronica 2028, November 14-17.

When and where is Electronica 2026?+
Electronica 2026 runs Tuesday November 10 to Friday November 13, 2026 at the Trade Fair Center Messe Munchen, Am Messesee 2, Munich. Halls are open 09:00-18:00 Tuesday to Thursday and 09:00-15:00 on Friday. The separately ticketed electronica Automotive Conference takes place the day before, on November 9, at the ICM on the same site.
How much does an Electronica 2026 ticket cost?+
Online prices are EUR 48 for one day, EUR 81 for two days and EUR 109 for all four days, including 19% VAT. At the door the same tickets cost EUR 66, EUR 110 and EUR 150, roughly 36 to 38 percent more. Group day tickets for 10 or more people are EUR 40 online and a reduced ticket is EUR 37 online with proof of eligibility. The student and pupil ticket is free but valid only on Friday November 13.
Is my Electronica ticket valid for SEMICON Europa?+
Yes. One electronica ticket also admits you to SEMICON Europa, which runs on the same dates in Halls B0, B1, C1 and C2 with identical opening hours. You do not need a second ticket.
Can I leave Electronica and come back the same day?+
No. Messe Munchen states that your visitor ticket does not allow you to re-enter the fair and will not open the turnstiles a second time if you leave. Plan to stay on site for the day. Multi-day tickets do work across separate days and do not have to be used on consecutive days.
Does my Electronica ticket include public transport in Munich?+
No. Unlike several other German trade fairs, the Print@home ticket does not entitle you to free travel on MVG, MVV or DB services. You need a separate tariff zone M ticket or day pass. The fairground sits between the Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost stops on U-Bahn line U2, about 20 minutes from Munich Hauptbahnhof with no change.

Electronica is biennial, held in even-numbered years at Messe Munchen since 1964. The edition after 2026 is electronica 2028, November 14-17, 2028. Regional editions run in between: electronica India in September 2026 and electronica China in April 2027.
