About This Show
Formnext is the international trade fair for additive manufacturing and industrial 3D printing, organized by Mesago Messe Frankfurt and held every November at the Frankfurt exhibition center in Germany. The 2026 edition runs November 17-20.
The show covers the full additive manufacturing process chain: design and simulation software, metal and polymer printing systems, materials and powders, post-processing, quality assurance and the production technologies that sit alongside AM on the factory floor.
The 2025 edition, the show's tenth, drew 38,282 visitors, 47% of them from outside Germany, and 804 exhibitors, 61% of them international, across about 50,000 square meters of gross exhibition space. The organizer reported a record visitor number for that edition.
Formnext runs the same week as Fi Europe, which also takes place at Messe Frankfurt on November 17-19, so hotel availability in Frankfurt tightens that week. Book accommodation early.
