IFT First

IFT FIRST (formerly branded the IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo) is the flagship trade show and conference of the Institute of Food Technologists, held at McCormick Place in Chicago. The event covers food science, technology and product innovation, combining an exhibit hall of ingredient suppliers, equipment makers and technology providers with technical sessions, poster presentations and networking programs. Attendees include food scientists, product developers, ingredient suppliers and executives from food and beverage manufacturers. It is a professional trade and scientific event rather than one aimed at general consumers.
