Nor-Shipping is one of the world's leading maritime events, held every two years across Oslo and Lillestrom and combining a major exhibition with high-level conference programming on shipping, ocean technology, and sustainable maritime solutions. The most recent edition, Nor-Shipping 2025, marked the event's 60th anniversary and broke records across the board: 63,698 visitors (up 23% from 2023's 51,948) representing 104 nations, and 1,012 exhibiting companies from 50 countries - a 13% increase that pushed exhibitor numbers past four figures for the first time.
National pavilions grew 31%, anchored by major clusters from India, China, and Germany, and demand for space was strong enough that organisers opened a second-floor "Upper Deck" in Hall D for the first time. The conference and seminar programme expanded 38%, adding new tracks including Ocean Invest and an LNG Conference alongside the core maritime technology exhibition.
