WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 (Sep 22-25, Hamburg Messe und Congress) was the biennial global trade fair for onshore and offshore wind, covering the full value chain: turbine manufacturers, developers, foundation and installation specialists, vessel operators, ports, component suppliers, investors and policymakers.
The organizer reported more than 1,600 exhibiting companies from around 40 countries and over 40,000 attendees from more than 100 nations. These are preliminary estimates taken at noon on the final day. Around 30 national pavilions took part, with the Czech Republic and Greece participating for the first time, and more than 300 speakers appeared on six open stages.
New for 2026 was the Energy Storage Area, giving storage an exhibition hall of its own (hall A2, about 3,600 sqm) with a dedicated Energy Storage Stage. Recruiting Days for trainees and students also ran during the fair.
The next edition runs September 26-29, 2028, and exhibitor applications are already open. Before that, the organizer runs WindEnergy Asia-Pacific in Singapore on May 25-27, 2027.
