About This Show
Security Essen is Messe Essen's leading trade fair for civil and defense security, held in Essen, Germany. The 2026 edition covers surveillance, access control, alarm systems, civil protection, critical infrastructure protection, banking and financial security, law enforcement equipment, and robotics and drone technology, with a special focus on video surveillance, artificial intelligence, and drones showcased together in one exhibition hall. For the first time, Security Essen runs alongside the newly launched Euro Defence Expo (EUDEX), creating synergies between civilian and military security sectors. The NATO Joint Air Power Competence Centre (JAPCC) also holds its annual conference on-site during the fair. The event takes place at Messe Essen.
