November 30-December 4, 2026 | Las Vegas, Nevada | Organizer: Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Venues: Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian and Wynn, per AWS | 2,200+ sessions and an Expo with 450+ AWS Partners, per AWS | Full conference pass: $2,499 | Last completed edition (2025): "more than 60,000 attendees," per Amazon | No 2026 attendance total published yet

AWS re:Invent 2026 is Amazon Web Services' annual cloud and AI conference, held November 30-December 4, 2026, in Las Vegas. AWS's FAQ says the conference takes place across multiple venues including Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian and Wynn, so it is a multi-resort event rather than a single convention center.

AWS has not published a 2026 attendance figure, and this guide does not forecast one. For the 2025 edition, Amazon's newsroom says AWS CEO Matt Garman spoke to more than 60,000 attendees. That is Amazon's own rounded statement, not a registration audit. AWS also reports that 47% of 2025 attendees were first-timers.

Four dates matter most if you are still deciding. AWS says its sleeping room blocks and discounted hotel rates close November 5, 2026. A cancellation earns a 50% refund only until November 23, 2026. Requests for accessibility services must arrive by November 14. The full-refund window closed on October 16.

What AWS Has Published About the 2026 Program

AWS's event page says the 2026 featured speakers are confirmed and that reserved seating is open. It names these session formats:

  • Launch sessions: hands-on time with new services the day they are announced.
  • Builders' sessions: one problem, 15 practitioners.
  • Ask the Experts: small-group conversations with AWS engineers.
  • 500-level deep dives, industry meetups, workshops and labs, and executive meetups.
  • Curated agendas: role, industry and interest paths so you do not have to assemble a schedule from the full list. Browse them on AWS's curated agendas page.

Reserved seating opened October 6. According to the FAQ, it covers bootcamps, technical sessions, chalk talks, code talks, exam prep, gamified learning, select labs and workshops. Keynotes and lecture-style breakouts do not need a reservation. Reserved seats are non-transferable, and you must arrive at least ten minutes before the start or the seat is released to the walk-up line.

AWS lists these Emerald sponsors on its event page: Accenture, Anthropic, Capgemini, Datadog, Deloitte, IBM, MongoDB, NVIDIA, OpenAI, PwC and Splunk. The full list is on the sponsors page. We did not find a published 2026 keynote schedule on the pages we read, so check the event catalog for times.

These are pre-show statements as of October 28, 2026. They are not results.

What 2025 Looked Like

The 2025 edition ran December 1-5, 2025, and is the most recent completed one.

Amazon, 2025 attendance. Amazon's newsroom says Garman told more than 60,000 attendees that AI is shifting from answering questions to accomplishing tasks. We found no AWS post-event release giving a registration or badge-scan total, so we treat "more than 60,000" as Amazon's own rounded figure.

Amazon, 2025 preview. Amazon's pre-show article said the 14th annual event would feature five keynotes and more than 600 technical sessions on agentic AI. That is a pre-show statement. The 2026 page lists 2,200+ sessions, but the two numbers count different things, so we do not compare them or claim growth.

AWS, 2025 attendee survey. AWS's approval toolkit says 94% of last year's attendees recommend it to a colleague, 89% said the content was directly relevant to their role and 80% achieved their primary goal. These are AWS's own survey results, with no sample size published.

Pass Prices and Registration

AWS prices the 2026 conference as follows (FAQ):

PassPriceNotes
Full conference$2,499Keynotes, breakout sessions, hands-on labs and the official party
Bulk purchase10% offApplies automatically at 10 or more passes in one transaction
Guest add-on pass$350Add-on for a guest, party entry only

AWS's event page says early bird pricing ended August 25. Registration requires an AWS Builder ID. Attendees must be at least 18 by the day they pick up their badge, and a full conference pass is required to attend any session; there is no expo-only pass listed in the FAQ.

Refunds. AWS's FAQ sets three windows: full refund if notice arrives by October 16, 2026; 50% refund from October 17 to November 23; none after November 23. Registrations can be transferred with AWS approval, but hotel and seat reservations cannot.

Extras for in-person registrants. The FAQ lists a 50% voucher on an AWS Certification exam, valid for exam appointments before January 31, 2027. Keynotes and select live programming will be livestreamed free, and the FAQ says keynotes and breakouts will be available on demand after the event.

Hotels, Venues and Getting Around

Hotels. Registered attendees get discounted rates at select hotels through the attendee portal, "as inventory allows through November 5, 2026," per the FAQ. A credit card is required and the hotel charges a one-night deposit before the event. Official hotel confirmations come from the hotel between November 5 and 13. Due to gaming regulations, you must be at least 21 to reserve at the campus hotels, excluding Treasure Island, per the same FAQ.

Shuttles and monorail. The FAQ says shuttles run between properties continuously during conference hours and that badge holders can ride the Las Vegas Monorail free by showing their badge. A valid re:Invent badge is required for the shuttles. AWS said transportation details would follow in the fall; we did not find a published route map on the pages we read.

What AWS budgets. The approval toolkit estimates about $4,190 per person: the $2,499 pass, about $600 round-trip airfare and about $218 a night for five hotel nights (about $1,091 plus taxes and fees). Those are AWS's planning estimates, not quotes, and they exclude meals outside the event, ground transport and your own time.

Meals and access. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on full conference days. AWS lists free services such as assistive listening, keynote translation (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and LATAM Spanish) and English captions, and others on request by November 14 (FAQ).

Exhibiting and Sponsoring

AWS says the Expo features 450+ AWS Partners across every industry. Its sponsorship page says sponsors reach "thousands of cloud and AI professionals" through launches, speaking sessions, hands-on technical sessions and networking events.

What is not published on the pages we read: sponsorship package prices, booth sizes and rates, Expo hours and Expo location. Do not plan a budget around any of them until AWS confirms. Start from the sponsorship page, and use awsreinvent-support@amazon.com for event questions. Whether sponsorship space is still available this close to the event is not stated, so ask.

The "450+ AWS Partners" figure is AWS's own pre-show claim, not a final exhibitor count.

Is AWS re:Invent 2026 Worth It?

The published facts support a decision framework, not a verdict.

If you are deciding whether to attend:

  • Known minimum spend: the $2,499 pass, before travel and lodging. AWS's own estimate for one person is about $4,190, per its toolkit.
  • Group math: 10 passes qualify for 10% off the pass price, per the FAQ.
  • Fit: the full list of formats is on the event catalog. Filter by role and level before you buy, because sessions are spread across several resorts.
  • If you cannot travel: keynotes are livestreamed free and recordings are promised on demand, per the FAQ.
  • Timing: hotel blocks close November 5 and the 50% refund window closes November 23.

If you are deciding whether to sponsor or exhibit:

  • Audience claim: AWS says sponsors reach thousands of cloud and AI professionals. It has not published a 2026 attendee count or lead data.
  • Competition: AWS lists 450+ Partners in the Expo and 11 Emerald sponsors by name.
  • Not published: price, space and ROI. We do not estimate any of them. Use TSB's exhibitor ROI calculator to set your cost against a lead target of your own.
