It is an annual construction and urban development show organized by dmg events. The 2025 edition drew 85,093 attendees, 2,866 exhibitors and 169 participating countries, according to the organizer's 2025 highlights page. No final 2026 results exist yet.

Dates and venue are from the organizer's plan your visit page and its Event at a glance PDF, both checked October 24, 2026.

Opening hours

The organizer's plan your visit page lists these hours:

  • Monday, November 23: 11am to 6pm
  • Tuesday, November 24: 10am to 6pm
  • Wednesday, November 25: 10am to 6pm
  • Thursday, November 26: 10am to 5pm

Monday opens an hour later than Tuesday and Wednesday, and Thursday closes an hour earlier. Tuesday and Wednesday are the longest days at eight hours each, against seven on the other two, so they give you the most floor time.

What is on the program

The organizer frames the 2026 edition around four priorities: supply chain resilience, technology advancement, sustainable transformation and a future-ready workforce. Its visit pages point to these scheduled features:

  • Leadership summits: the Big 5 Global Leaders' Summit, the LiveableCitiesX Summit and the Big 5 FutureTech Summit.
  • Talks: Project Management Talks, Concrete Talks, HVACR Talks, Sustainability Talks, Everything Architecture Talks, Facility Management Talks, AI Talks and buildingSMART Talks.
  • Big 5 Global Impact Trail: a route through exhibitors showing lower-impact materials and solutions.
  • Startup City and live product demonstrations across the event.

The organizer publishes a session list in its Event at a glance PDF. Check it against the live agenda before you plan your days, as speakers and times can change.

Co-located shows

Big 5 Global has run alongside specialist events at DWTC. The organizer's UAE portfolio lists nine: Heavy, Totally Concrete, Marble & Stone World, Urban Design & Landscape, Windows, Doors & Facades, HVACR World, LiveableCitiesX, GeoWorld and Future FM. The organizer has not labelled this list as the 2026 co-located line-up, so check its floor plan to see which shows run this year and which halls hold the sectors you want.

Who should go

  • Visitors who want the exhibition floor: buyers, specifiers, contractors and consultants comparing suppliers across sectors. The Visitor ticket covers all four days of the exhibition and the CPD talks.
  • Delegates who want the strategy conversation: project owners, developers and senior planners. The Delegate ticket adds one Leadership Summit.
  • VIP Delegates who want the full summit program and networking: the VIP ticket covers all summits, the VIP lounge and the Elite Executive Mixer.

Match the co-located show to your buying role: concrete and heavy equipment buyers to Totally Concrete and Heavy, HVAC and building services teams to HVACR World, facilities managers to Future FM, architects and urban planners to Urban Design & Landscape and LiveableCitiesX. For scale, the organizer's 2025 highlights page reports 1,815 summit delegates and 554 speakers.

How big is it?

Read size claims with care, because the organizer's own pages carry different figures:

  • 2025 edition (organizer's 2025 highlights page): 85,093 attendees, 2,866 exhibitors and 169 participating countries, with 70 exhibiting countries and 24 country pavilions.
  • Organizer's current homepage headline figures: 65K+ attendees, 1.8K+ exhibitors, 450+ industry speakers and 165+ participating countries. The organizer does not say which edition these describe, so we do not treat them as 2025 or 2026 results.

No final 2026 attendance or exhibitor results exist until the show closes. Treat any 2026 figure you see before then as a pre-show number, not a final result.

Tickets

The organizer sells tickets through its ticket page. Prices below are as of October 27, 2026. The early-bird rate ended on October 15, and the organizer says prices go up at the door, with onsite rates from November 23.

  • Visitor: AED 150. All-days exhibition access, CPD talks and the event app.
  • Delegate: AED 2,000. Visitor access plus one Leadership Summit.
  • VIP Delegate: AED 3,750. All summits, the VIP lounge and the Elite Executive Mixer.
  • ASHRAE Trainings: AED 720. Visitor access plus the ASHRAE trainings.

Visitors under 21 are not admitted, and tickets are non-refundable. Register before you travel to avoid the onsite rate, and check the ticket page for any change before you buy.

Getting to Dubai World Trade Centre

Per the organizer's travel page:

  • Metro: DWTC station is on the Red Line, about two minutes from the venue. The organizer highly recommends it.
  • Bus: routes 27 and 29 stop outside the Novotel, next to the Convention Gate entrance.
  • Taxi: Dubai Taxis are available outside DWTC and charge by the meter.
  • Parking: DWTC has several car parks.

The organizer names an official airline partner, a transport partner and a hotel booking partner. It advises that travel and hotel prices rise as the show date gets closer, so book early. Visa guidance is on the UAE government platform the organizer links.

A first-visit plan

  1. Pick your sector first (concrete, HVACR, facilities, geospatial, interiors) and note which co-located show holds it.
  2. Shortlist the exhibitors you most want to meet from the exhibitor list before you arrive.
  3. Choose one talk track per day instead of moving between them. Summit sessions need a Delegate or VIP ticket, so decide on your ticket tier first.
  4. Put your supplier meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday, and keep Thursday (closing at 5pm) for follow-ups.
