Quick Answer: When is Cosmoprof Asia 2026 and what is it? Cosmoprof Asia 2026 runs from Tuesday November 10 to Friday November 13, 2026 in Hong Kong as two linked trade shows at two venues. Cosmopack Asia, for the beauty supply chain (ingredients, contract manufacturing, packaging and machinery), runs November 10-12 at AsiaWorld-Expo next to the airport, from 10:00 to 18:00. Cosmoprof Asia, for finished branded products, runs November 11-13 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai, from 09:30 to 18:30. It is a trade-only event for visitors aged 16 and over. Admission is free if you pre-register online by November 4, and one badge covers both venues; on-site registration costs HKD 420. The organizer's figures for the 2025 edition were 64,761 visits and 2,688 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions.
The real decision with Cosmoprof Asia is which venue, and which days, you need. One venue is at the airport on Lantau Island and the other is on the Wan Chai waterfront, and the two shows overlap only on Wednesday and Thursday. A packaging buyer or brand owner looking for a contract manufacturer belongs at AsiaWorld-Expo, ideally on Tuesday. A distributor or retailer looking for finished brands belongs at HKCEC, and can still use Friday after Cosmopack has closed. People who need both should plan Wednesday and Thursday around the free shuttle. This guide is published 26 days before the show opens and 20 days before free pre-registration closes.
It covers what each half of the show includes, the four-day shape, registration, the 2026 programs, exhibiting, and getting between the airport, the city and both venues. Dates, hours and rules come from the organizer's site at cosmoprof-asia.com, checked on October 12, 2026. For the structured listing, see our Cosmoprof Asia 2026 show page.
1. What Cosmoprof Asia Actually Is
Cosmoprof Asia is organized by Cosmoprof Asia Ltd, a joint venture of Italy's BolognaFiere, which runs Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, and Informa Markets. It is part of the Cosmoprof network of beauty trade fairs, and the organizer describes it as a B2B event covering the whole beauty industry, from ingredients to finished products. 2026 is the 29th edition.
The show is split by where a product sits in the supply chain:
- Cosmopack Asia at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) is the supply-chain show. The organizer now groups it into two segments: OEM/ODM & Ingredients (contract manufacturing, private label and raw materials) and Packaging & Machinery (primary and secondary packaging, filling and processing machinery, print and label). The organizer lists a special area for premium and innovative packaging and manufacturing technology in Halls 3 and 6.
- Cosmoprof Asia at HKCEC is the finished-products show. Its two segments are Perfumery, Cosmetics & Nail and Hair & Beauty Salon, which covers professional hair care, salon equipment and spa. The organizer's sector list also includes Natural & Organic.
Who visits. The organizer lists beauty salons, spas and wellness centers, finished-product manufacturers, hair salons, retail outlets, OEM/ODM and packaging manufacturers, and sole agents, distributors and wholesalers.
Who exhibits. The organizer's online exhibitor list for 2026 says visitors can source from "2,900+ exhibitors." Examples from the list on October 12 include Acospack from Korea (AWE Hall 3, stand 3-D12), AFA Dispensing (Shanghai) (AWE Hall 6, 6-F14), Achieve Co., Ltd. from Japan (HKCEC Hall 1E, 1E-B2D), Addie Beauty from Belgium (HKCEC Hall 3E, 3E-F3G) and Aesthetics Skincare from Australia (HKCEC Hall 5G, 5G-K3M). Search the list by country, sector or product category before you go, rather than assuming last year's exhibitors are back.
Country of Honour. Italy is the 2026 Country of Honour. The organizer says the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Cosmetica Italia are presenting an Italian pavilion across both shows. The organizer's pavilion page places Italy in HKCEC Halls 1E and 3G and AWE Hall 8.
2. Dates, Hours & the Four-Day Shape
| Day | Date | AsiaWorld-Expo (Cosmopack Asia) | HKCEC (Cosmoprof Asia) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Tuesday November 10 | 10:00-18:00 | Closed |
| Day 2 | Wednesday November 11 | 10:00-18:00 | 09:30-18:30 |
| Day 3 | Thursday November 12 | 10:00-18:00 | 09:30-18:30 |
| Day 4 | Friday November 13 | Closed | 09:30-18:30 |
Visitor registration counters are open from 09:30 to 17:30 at AWE and 09:00 to 18:00 at HKCEC. The organizer says the counters close 30 minutes before the fair closes each day, and that visitors cannot enter the exhibition halls in the last 15 minutes.
A few things follow from this shape:
- Tuesday is Cosmopack only. If you are sourcing packaging, ingredients or a manufacturer, Tuesday is the only day when Cosmopack Asia is open and Cosmoprof Asia is not, so you can spend a full day at AWE without missing anything at HKCEC.
- Wednesday and Thursday are the only days both shows are open. That is when the inter-venue shuttle runs most often (see section 8).
- Friday is Cosmoprof only. The Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Awards winners are celebrated at HKCEC on November 13, according to the organizer, and the FUSION BEYOND hair show runs that evening (see section 5).
3. Registration: How to Get In
Cosmoprof Asia is trade only. The organizer says no one under 16 is admitted, and that it can refuse entry and verify the trade identity of any registrant.
Pre-register online and entry is free. The organizer's registration page says free online pre-registration closes on November 4, 2026. After that, visitors register on site and pay HKD 420 each, and need to bring a business card. Visitors with an original printed show invitation or an e-complimentary ticket from an exhibitor get in free on site; photocopies are not accepted.
What pre-registration includes, according to the organizer:
- one admission badge valid at both HKCEC and AsiaWorld-Expo
- access to the Match&Meet business-matching platform to request meetings with exhibitors
- the option to enroll for CosmoTalks seminars
Badges. Accepted registrants receive a confirmation email with a print-at-home badge. Print it on A4 paper before you travel, or use the on-site self-service counter, then pick up a lanyard and badge holder at the venue.
Buyer Programme. Separate from general registration, the organizer runs a Buyer Programme for owners, CEOs, directors and sourcing managers at importers, distributors, wholesalers, retail chains, department stores, e-tailers and brand companies. The organizer lists its privileges as a "tailor made sponsorship package," complimentary entry and Buyer Lounge access, onsite assistance, B2B meetings with exhibitors and invitations to official events. Its September 21 pre-show release said it expects more than 400 buyers from more than 45 countries and regions, with dedicated buyer delegations focused on the Middle East and Central Asia added for 2026. Ask the organizer directly what the sponsorship package covers in your case.
4. Fragrance, Italy and the 2026 Special Areas
Fragrance is the organizer's main 2026 theme. The projects it has announced:
- Explorers by Esxence, a fragrance area at HKCEC run with Esxence, the Milan event for artistic perfumery. The organizer says brands are selected by technical committees.
- Fragrance Avenue at HKCEC, which brings together mass-market and independent fragrance brands.
- SCENT Museum at HKCEC (booth 5G-H3A), a multisensory installation created with the Xuelei Fragrance Museum.
- COSMOLAB 2026 at AWE (Hall 8, stand 8-A01), where Xuelei, Baralan, CPL Aromas and PengYu show a fragrance going from concept to a finished 30 ml product. The organizer says visitors who take part in the scent experience may receive a limited-edition bottle while stocks last.
- A fragrance installation created with the agency Centdegrés, featuring international fragrance houses.
Other special areas listed by the organizer include Beauty Ingredients & Raw Materials (AWE), Beauty Accessories & Tools, Halal Beauty, Nutri-Beauty and Zoom on Beauty, an all-inclusive format for companies exhibiting for the first time (all at HKCEC). Beauty Tech, Male Grooming, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Start Up areas also appear on the organizer's special-areas page.
Country and group pavilions. The organizer's 2026 pavilion page lists pavilions from Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, California, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan Region, Thailand, Türkiye, the UK and the USA, plus a West African shea pavilion (Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali and Togo) organized by the Global Shea Alliance. China, Hong Kong and Taiwan Region are at AWE, Korea and Italy are at both venues, and most of the others are in HKCEC Hall 1E. Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, South Africa and the UK are new participants this year, according to the organizer's September 21 release.
5. CosmoTalks, BIFA and the Stage Program
CosmoTalks is the organizer's seminar program, and pre-registered visitors can enroll for sessions. The organizer's home page promises more than 20 CosmoTalks and Cosmo Forum sessions with around 50 speakers. The daily themes, per the organizer:
| Date | Venue | Theme |
|---|---|---|
| November 10 | AWE | From Concept to Margin: go-to-market economics and manufacturing partnerships |
| November 11 | AWE | Packaging Reimagined: trends, technology, fragrance and transparency |
| November 12 | AWE | Global Opportunities, Local Realities: compliance, expansion and emerging frontiers |
| November 11 | HKCEC | Trends to Treasures: decoding the future consumer |
| November 12 | HKCEC | The Innovation Imperative: from beauty tech to sensory experiences |
| November 13 | HKCEC | Global Ambitions: market entry and omnichannel growth |
BIFA Symposium. Beauty Ingredients & Formulation Asia (BIFA) runs on November 10-11 at AsiaWorld-Expo, organized with the Hong Kong Society of Cosmetic Chemists. It covers ingredient innovation, fragrance trends, formulation and enabling technologies, and adds one-to-one business matching for ingredient suppliers, formulators and manufacturers. BIFA has its own site (beautyifa.com) and its own ticketing for the symposium, so check what your Cosmoprof Asia badge covers before you plan to attend sessions.
Cosmo Onstage (HKCEC, booth 5G-L3A) is a stage for live demonstrations in hair, makeup, nails and wellness. The organizer says all sessions are free but must be booked in advance. Listed 2026 sessions include Megumi Sekine and NikkieTutorials on November 12, a makeup performance by the Mao GePing Make Up Academy, and a live haircut demonstration by OMC on November 13.
FUSION BEYOND hair show. On Friday November 13 from 18:00 to 21:30 in the HKCEC Convention Hall, Pivot Point (China) Education Foundation hosts an international hair show with stylists from Europe, the Americas, China, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. The organizer says seats are reserved in two steps: register as a Cosmoprof Asia visitor, then contact Pivot Point to book a seat.
Awards and trends. The Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Asia Awards are open to exhibitors only, and the organizer runs the awards and the CosmoTrends Report with the trend agency BEAUTYSTREAMS. Winners are celebrated at HKCEC on November 13.
Charity sampling. At the BOUTIQUE sampling bar at HKCEC, visitors can pick five product samples from exhibitors for a minimum donation of HKD 100, with proceeds going to HER Fund, a Hong Kong women's fund, according to the organizer.
6. Match&Meet and Networking
Match&Meet is the organizer's buyer-supplier matching platform, which the organizer describes as AI-driven. It lets registered buyers and exhibitors search by product, brand or company, view profiles, send connection requests and schedule meetings. Pre-registration gives you access, so set up your meetings in the weeks before the show rather than on the floor. The organizer also runs Elite Circle, a networking program for C-level and senior executives.
7. Exhibiting at Cosmoprof Asia
The organizer does not publish stand prices. It says the cost depends on booth size, package and location, and that companies should submit a "Book a Stand" form so the sales team can propose an option. The formats it lists:
- Ready Stand (Cosmoprof Asia), a pre-designed stand package for the Cosmetics & Toiletries sector at HKCEC.
- Ready Stand (Cosmopack Asia), an all-inclusive package for the Packaging sector at AWE.
- Raw space at either show, for companies building their own stand.
- Special areas and Zoom on Beauty, the all-inclusive format for first-time individual exhibitors (see section 4).
- National and group pavilions, booked through each pavilion's organizer.
Sales contacts, per the organizer: Informa Markets in Hong Kong (+852 3709 4988) handles Asia and Oceania, and BolognaFiere Cosmoprof in Milan (+39 02 796 420) handles Europe, Africa, the Americas, Israel, Lebanon and Türkiye.
With four weeks to go, a company that has not yet booked should ask the sales team whether any space is still available for 2026, or start talking about 2027.
Questions to settle before you commit
- Which venue fits your product? A packaging or ingredients company placed at HKCEC, or a finished brand at AWE, may meet the wrong buyers.
- If you are new, does Zoom on Beauty or a Ready Stand cover construction, furniture, power and badges, and what costs extra?
- If your country runs a pavilion, what does it cost and include compared with booking direct? Pavilion terms are set by the pavilion organizer.
- How many exhibitor badges come with your stand, and how many e-complimentary tickets can you send to customers?
- Can you enter the Cosmoprof or Cosmopack Awards, a CosmoTalks slot or a Cosmo Onstage demo, and what does each cost?
- What happens to move-in, opening hours and your costs if a typhoon signal is raised? The organizer changed the 2024 opening hours at both venues because of Typhoon Toraji.
8. Getting There and Between the Venues
AsiaWorld-Expo (Airport Expo Boulevard, Chek Lap Kok) is at Hong Kong International Airport, with its own station on the Airport Express line. The organizer says it is two minutes from the airport and about 28 minutes from Hong Kong Station in Central. With valid Cosmoprof Asia proof, such as your badge or registration confirmation, you can buy a same-day return ticket for HKD 65 between Hong Kong or Kowloon Station and AWE. Pay with an Octopus card at the designated counters in those stations. Buses E11, E11A, E21, E22, E22A, E32, E41 and S1 also stop at AWE.
HKCEC (1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai) is a five-minute walk from Exhibition Centre Station on the MTR East Rail Line, or about 15 minutes on foot through the footbridges from Wan Chai Station (Exit A1), according to the organizer.
Free shuttle buses. The organizer runs complimentary shuttles between the two venues and from city pick-up points; show your badge before boarding. The organizer stresses the published schedule is for reference only and may change. As published on October 12:
- HKCEC to AWE: from Expo Drive Central to the SkyCity Carpark, roughly every 15 minutes in the morning peak on November 10-12, with the last runs at 16:00 on November 10-11 and 15:00 on November 12.
- AWE to HKCEC: from the SkyCity Carpark to Expo Drive Central, about every 15 minutes from 12:00 to 19:00 on November 11 and 12 (from 14:00 on November 10).
- City to AWE: from Middle Road, Tsim Sha Tsui (outside the Sheraton) from 08:00, and from the Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West between 08:15 and 09:45. Return runs go from AWE to Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui and to the Nina Hotel in the afternoon and evening.
The organizer says shuttles are suspended an hour before a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is expected.
Visas. The organizer says visitors from most countries do not need a visa to enter Hong Kong; check your own requirements with the Hong Kong Immigration Department. Indian nationals must complete the department's pre-arrival registration. The organizer can issue an invitation letter for visa applications to pre-registered visitors, but asks for requests at least two months before the fair and says visa processing normally takes four to six weeks. That window has passed for 2026, so contact the organizer and the Immigration Department now if you still need a visa.
Hotels. The organizer links to hotel search pages for each venue. Staying near AWE suits a Cosmopack-only visit; staying in Wan Chai or Tsim Sha Tsui suits Cosmoprof and gives you the city shuttle to AWE.
Weather. The organizer's adverse-weather page notes that typhoons can affect Hong Kong until November, and explains how warning signals affect the show. Check the Hong Kong Observatory before you travel each day.
9. Planning Notes and Clashes
Key dates:
- Now - free online pre-registration open; set up Match&Meet meetings and enroll for CosmoTalks.
- November 4 - free pre-registration closes. After that, on-site registration costs HKD 420.
- November 10 - Cosmopack Asia and BIFA open at AWE.
- November 11-12 - both venues open; the only days you can visit both shows.
- November 13 - Cosmoprof Asia's final day at HKCEC; awards celebration and FUSION BEYOND hair show.
Nearby in the calendar. Phase 3 of the Canton Fair Autumn 2026, which includes health and personal care, runs October 31 to November 4 in Guangzhou. The CIIE 2026 import expo runs November 5-10 in Shanghai, ending on Cosmopack Asia's first day. Our November 2026 trade shows calendar lists the other major shows that month.
The Cosmoprof network. The same organizers run Cosmoprof North America and Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. Check each event's site for its next dates.
A note on the numbers. The 2025 figures (64,761 visits; 2,688 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions; 120,000 square meters) come from the organizer's Facts & Figures page, which labels the visitor figure "visits" rather than unique visitors. The 2026 figures of more than 2,900 exhibitors and more than 78,000 visitors are the organizer's expectations, not results. The organizer gives the number of 2026 country and group pavilions as 21 on its home page and 20 in its September 21 release, and its pavilion page lists more entries than either, so this guide does not use a total.
